Spicy Sheet-Pan Salmon
A quick and flavorful salmon dish with a spicy rub, roasted alongside vegetables for an easy one-pan meal.
Ingredients
- 4 fillets salmon fillets — 6 oz each
- 3 cups broccoli florets — or substitute with asparagus
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 0.5 teaspoon cumin
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.25 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 lemon lemon wedges — for serving
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, mix chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillets and broccoli florets on the sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle the spice mixture evenly over salmon and broccoli. Toss broccoli to coat.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork, and broccoli is tender. ⏱ 20 min timer
- Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
Notes
For extra heat, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the spice mix. Leftovers keep in the fridge for up to 2 days.
