Classic Espresso Martini
A smooth and energizing cocktail combining espresso, vodka, and coffee liqueur.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz freshly brewed espresso — cooled slightly
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz coffee liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)
- 0.5 oz simple syrup — optional, to taste
- 6 ice cubes — for shaking
- 3 coffee beans — for garnish
Method
- Brew the espresso and let it cool for a minute.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
- Add the cooled espresso, vodka, coffee liqueur, and simple syrup (if using) to the shaker.
- Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well-chilled. ⏱ 0 min timer
- Strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with 3 coffee beans floating on top.
Notes
For a creamier version, add 1 oz of heavy cream or half-and-half.
